As a Partner since the founding of the company in 2004, Scott has developed license agreements with SolarDock manufacturers and participated in the development of over 4 megawatts of SolarDock installations for customers worldwide. Instrumental in managing company revenue growth rates of over 400% during the past few years, Scott is deeply involved in strategic planning, capital management and operations expansion for the rapidly growing firm.
With more than 25 years of real estate development, finance and construction industry expertise, Scott’s entrepreneurial background helps support a flexible and responsive approach to the growth and deployment of the SolarDock business model. He continues to be active in real estate partnerships that own and manage warehouse and high-rise office buildings.
Scott is a graduate of Utah State University in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning and has completed coursework towards an MBA at Northeastern University. A member of DSEC (Delaware Solar Energy Council), Scott has been a speaker at many privately held clean tech conferences and at University of Delaware. He’s also served on task forces working to create better legislation for the solar industry.
SolarDock partner Ed O’Brien creates and launches strategies to install, manufacture, and finance large scale commercial projects for SolarDock customers. Relying on his 30 years in the commercial real estate industry, Ed specializes in integrating solar energy into real estate and investment portfolios and corporate business planning. Ed has overseen the independent testing of the SolarDock by Underwriter?s Laboratories, initiated CFD wind load testing, and designed other independent technical tests.
As one of the first Tenant Representative/Corporate Real Estate Services Brokers in the Mid-Atlantic region, Ed developed a real estate practice both regional and national in scope, representing firms on over 8.0 million square feet of office and industrial transactions. Ed?s national practice has served a diverse clientele, including AIG, GE Capital, Comdisco, CIGNA, The Shadow TrafficNetwork, Traffic.com, OkiData, and Himont.
Ed is a graduate of Villanova University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Widener University.
